When the degree of risk can be weighed up against the cost, in terms of time, money and difficulty of implementing control measures. If the cost outweighs the risk, than it is deemed inappropriate for an employer to implement the measures to prevent the risks.
Recognised body/sole practitioner
Recognised body/sole practitioner – according to the SRA Code of Conduct 2011, a recognised body is a body recognised by the SRA under section 9 of the Administration of Justice Act 1985. A recognised sole practitioner is a solicitor or Registered European lawyer (REL) authorised by the SRA under section 1B of the Solicitors Act 1974 to practise as a sole practitioner.

Registered European lawyer (REL)

Regularisation certificate
A certificate granted by a building control authority where a building has been commenced or completed without a Fire Safety Certificate, where such a certificate is required and certifies that the building work is in compliance with Part B of the Second Schedule to the Building Regulations1997 to 2009.
